Former ESPN host, Sage Steele, did what every other MAGA Conservative does when someone criticizes the Toddler-In-Chief: they get triggered as hell and tell them to shut up and dribble. Or in this case, shut up and sing, and keep your woke opinions to yourself.
During Sunday night’s Grammy Awards speeches, several pop stars, including Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, and Kehlani, voiced their displeasure with Trump’s ICE brown shirts.
Bad Bunny said, “Before I go, I just want to say one thing: f*** ICE. Get the f*** out of Minnesota. No one wants you there. I don’t care if that hurts your feelings. You can clutch your pearls all you want; you can call me and every protester a domestic terrorist, but the only domestic terrorists are the ones who are shooting people in the face and in the back, and sending children and their parents to concentration camps. That’s not us. That’s you. Peace lives.”
“I couldn’t watch for more than ten or fifteen minutes, Steele opined on Jesse Watters’ Primetime. “Because I knew what it would ultimately be: a bunch of woke no-nothings whining and crying and politicizing their feelings, and having no idea what they’re talking about. If these idiots did any any research, they would know that these so-called “peaceful protesters” are the real domestic terrorists; they’re the ones who are calling ICE agents Nazis and fascists. That’s the definition of domestic terrorism. They’re throwing Subway sandwiches in the faces of ICE agents. That’s domestic terrorism. They’re dressing up as animals and taunting ICE agents to have sex with them. That’s domestic terrorism. It’s all a psyop by George Soros who’s paying all of these protesters to protest, because they really have no idea why they’re protesting, George Soros just said, ‘here’s a thousand dollars, go protest.” And like good little lemmings, that’s exactly what they’re doing.”
Watters nodded wisely. “You’re so right, Sage. Now I see why your parents named you Sage. They obviously knew you would be a wise soul.”
“Thank you, Jesse. And I would liken it to what the Great Laura Ingraham said years ago in reference to LeBron James: ‘Shut up and dribble.’ It’s not that we don’t want to hear athletes’ opinions on things. It’s just that if you’re going to criticize Trump, then you can keep your opinions to yourself, because we don’t want to hear them. If your opinions are based in woke, left-wing media narratives like Trump is a fascist and ICE is murdering people who aren’t terrorists, then your’e full of s***. You can go on fact and then give me your opinions from there, and I’m fine with that.
“We’re all fine with legal immigration, right? We’re all here because of legal immigration, right? It’s the illegal part, that’s the part they choose to ignore, and then spew their silly opinions like ‘no one is illegal. But you don’t get to make up s***, just shut up and sing because you don’t know what you’re talking about.”
If Billie Eillish and other anti-ICE pop stars should shut up and sing, perhaps Sage Steele and her ignorant, hateful ilk should also shut-the-fuck up and keep their opinions to themselves.
